Opening up the site … a bit

Never let it be said that we don’t listen to the feedback we get!

By far the most popular request we have had is to open up the site so that you can view the details of missions (and the responses) without having to register or sign in.

After much debate we have decided to implement this. So look out for it in the coming days.

You’ll still have to sign in / register to create missions or respond to missions obviously.

What do you think? Is this a good idea?

    I don’t think people should have a problem with this, as long as those not registered on the site can’t access anyone’s personal details. There are a lot of fraudsters and weirdo exes out there (not speaking for myself, of course!)

    Thanks for your feedback Nix. We are required to capture certain data about people when they register but everybody that registers on mymyssion can choose what information others can view. And they can change these preferences at any time by going to their profile.

    We have now opened up the site and people seem to be liking this. We have one small bug that we need to resolve which occurs when people try to open attachments when they are not logged in.
